Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bright Orchard Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 812 people based in Portland. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
