Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Rook Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
