Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Pittsburgh presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Investigate trends in school partnerships and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on ticketing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
