Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bluepeak Lakeside Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
