Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Bridge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Phoenix, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
