Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Lakeside Civic Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
