Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Omaha with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance.
