Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove Hollow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Oakland area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
