Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Keystone Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Oakland region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
