Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Bright Ridge Staffing places workers with employers around Oakland, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in candidate screening and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
