Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Drift Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on certifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
