Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Bright Lantern Pharma develops and makes medicines in Oakland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in regulatory filings and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on cleanroom operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
