Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Bright Ridge Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on onboarding. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
