Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Linden Inspection Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
