Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone Rowan Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
