Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Cedar Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the New Orleans area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
