Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Umber Hospitality is a hospitality company in New Orleans with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 427 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
