Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Nashville, TN)

Nova West Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
