Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Union Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
