Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Minneapolis, MN)

Bright Meadow Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Minneapolis, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
