Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Vista Financial is a financial-services company in Milwaukee, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
