Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Miami, FL)

Nova Cross Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Miami. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in Miami. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
