Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Miami, FL)

Foxglove Pine Manufacturing is a Miami manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
