Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ashton Energy and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
