Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Miami, FL)

Nova Vale Housing manages affordable housing communities across Miami. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on waiting lists. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
