Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Miami, FL)

Bluepeak Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Miami plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
