Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Madison, WI)

Silverline Beacon Financial serves customers across Madison with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
