Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Madison, WI)

Foxglove Cedar Foods produces packaged foods at its Madison plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
