Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Ivory Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Madison. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in sanitation schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
