Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Louisville, KY)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Louisville. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
