Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Little Rock, AR)

Highbridge West Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Little Rock. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on ridership counts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
