Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Las Vegas, NV)

Lumen Orchard Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Las Vegas area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
