Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Thistle Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Las Vegas region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
