Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Cross Foods and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
