Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Stone Telecom and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on network equipment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
