Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ridge Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
