Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis.
