Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Harbor Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
