Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Field Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Indianapolis supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 512 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Investigate trends in benefits enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
