Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Clear Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Indianapolis region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
