Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Cross Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on card disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
