Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Rook Staffing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
