Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Houston, TX)

Highbridge Juniper Health Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Houston. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
