Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Honolulu, HI)

Bright Lakeside Freight Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
