Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Ember Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Honolulu. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Investigate trends in meal programmes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on classroom supplies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
