Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Forge Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 473 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
