Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Hartford with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on equipment calibration. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
