Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Hartford working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
