Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Birch Arts Center and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
