Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Silverline Juniper Civic Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on procurement. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
